For every custom content type that you are using, you can restrict access to editing content or creating new content that uses that content type by role, this will also restrict a user's ability to see any content that has been posted with that content type.

It will not restrict any public access that you provide via our APIs, for example, it would not stop people from viewing that content on your site.

You can change the access roles on the content types edit or new page, you will be able to add any role that we have in the system.
